Project
Overview
Nicky’s Plaice, in Howth Co. Dublin, is the last functioning stone smokehouse on the East Coast. It’s run by Martin, son of founder Nicky McLoughlin. The challenge was to create a premium, yet accessible, brand that reflected the personality of the business and the quality of the product.
The Solutions
Using the story of a 60 year old artisan, family business we created a brand that conveys warmth and character, without compromising its ‘foody’ values. We applied the brand to the shopfront and interior, as well as to two distinct suites of packaging, giving full impact both on-shelf and online. As a result of the products new presentation it is now stocked by retail chain Aldi and has won the coveted ‘Blas na hEireann’ award.
Thank you so much, it all looks fantastic. It was a much bigger project than I had any idea of at the outset. So, thank you again for all your continued attention and encouragement through the branding, packaging and digital marketing process. Onwards and upwards!
