Overview
Handel’s Hotel is in the heart of medieval Dublin, on the edge of the Temple Bar cultural quarter. We were asked to review the brand and develop a website, in line with a comprehensive refurbishment. The hotel is on the site of the concert hall where Handel’s Messiah was first performed. This fact is central to the hotel’s identity but must not overshadow attributes such as amenities, location and convenience.
The Solutions
We based the brand on the idea that everybody experiences the city differently, depending on their interests and perspective. The website’s tone centres on the individual’s impressions of the city and what they anticipate doing during their visit. Through a fresh, warm and inviting visual style, accompanied by friendly, informative text, the site successfully conveys a true Dublin personality, with the hotel at its heart.
