Overview
The challenge for Treaty City Brewery was to elevate their digital presence by creating a website that not only highlighted their artisanal approach to brewing but also enhanced visitor engagement/conversion. Situated in Limerick’s historic medieval quarter, the brewery prides itself on a rich history and innovative spirit, crafting beers inspired by local culture and characters.
The task was to reflect this blend of history and modernity in the website design, encouraging interactions such as ticket bookings and newsletter subscriptions, which were previously under-optimised. A key element of the design was the use of fun and engaging animations, which brought the site to life and captured the vibrant essence of the brewery. Showcasing their diverse beverage offerings, from premium beers to artisan coffee, alongside unique visitor experiences and tasting sessions. The design intent was to create an engaging, persuasive online platform that mirrored the creative nature of the brewery.
The Solutions
Situated in Limerick’s historic medieval quarter, the brewery needed a digital presence that mirrored its rich heritage and innovative spirit. We approached this with a fresh perspective, integrating fun and engaging animations to breathe life into the site. This creative touch not only captured the brewery’s vibrant character but also enhanced user interaction, making the digital journey as delightful as a visit to the brewery itself.
Originality was infused through the use of local cultural elements, featuring beers named after local legends and historical figures. This clever incorporation of local culture into the website’s narrative and visual style offered an authentic experience that resonated with both locals and visitors.
The final product reflects a blend of history and modernity, with historical elements like sash windows and lime-rendered walls creatively juxtaposed against sleek, modern brewing apparatus. This visual harmony extended through to the website, ensuring that every element was polished and cohesive, creating a seamless user experience.
