Project
Overview
Elliott Group has been in operation for more than 90 years, with the third generation of the Elliott family, now involved in the business. It has expanded into being nationwide in Ireland and also has a vibrant UK division. As the company has grown, it needed to have a new website which reflected its work in international construction and fit out throughout a range of sectors in both jurisdictions.
The Solutions
The new website is designed to broaden the experience for a diverse range of users. The work of Elliott Group is broad, from construction to health and safety and fit out to logistics and green energy management. It also needed to be a hub to inform and attract new talent.
Users of the new website range from property developers looking for construction partners, to building managers seeking new and innovative solutions. It is also a place where project managers and project commissioners can view existing projects. Experienced professionals and graduate talent would also need to be able to see opportunities and get a feel for the company. A new layout for the site means that it’s easy to see what you want at a glance. The user can view projects easily, clicking on either country’s information. There is a new careers and graduate section, which is featured strongly as a core part of the site. The user journey is simplified, while still giving people all the images and information they need.
With the new website, we have been able to implement our marketing strategy to merge our ROI and UK businesses into one entity.
Originally, both sites had different designs and UIs, so presenting our group image consistently across both markets has already proven to be beneficial. Our custom-built CRM allows us to keep content current and we’re now migrating to one CMS platform with geo-targeting after securing a new domain. The ease with which we can update and edit in the CRM thanks to its intuitive design makes it much more efficient.
Since launching, we have seen a massive growth in users and more importantly, our bounce rate has dropped by 26%.
Feedback both internal and external has been positive since launch and our new sections including ‘Careers’, ‘Our People’ and ‘Our Sectors’ are proving to be the most frequently viewed. One of our goals was to showcase our team and focus on the human aspect of our company which is so important to our ethos, so we are delighted to see these results.
